Rental Equipment
RENTAL EQUIPMENT POLICIES & PROCEDURES
- Filters & Automatic Cleaners may be rented at a rate of $35 per day for D.E. filters & above ground robot cleaners and $40 per day for inground robot cleaners. (DE for filter must be purchased separately.)
- All rentals MUST be prepaid.
- Local delivery & pickup is available for a fee of $30 each. Setup & Startup is also available for an additional $60.
- An imprint of the customer's credit card MUST be taken at time of pickup or delivery. Should the customer fail to return the equipment within the allotted time, the full retail amount of the equipment will be charged to the credit card.
- Customer is responsible for any damage that occurs to the rental while in their possession.
- If the customer would like to purchase a new Filter System or Automatic Cleaner, the amount paid for the rental will be deducted from the purchase of the new equipment, if purchased within 30 days of rental.
ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT (CARTRIDGES, BASKETS, BAGS, ETC) MUST BE CLEANED OUT PRIOR TO RETURNING. FAILURE TO CLEAN OUT RENTAL EQUIPMENT BEFORE RETURNING WILL RESULT IN AN EXTRA DAYS FEE FOR THE EQUIPMENT.
Sta Rite DE Rental Filter Instructions
Getting Started:
- Remove filter top and add 6 orange scoops of DE to the center of the filter cartridge, put the top back on.
- Make sure the drain plug is on securely.
- Put both hoses into the pool and make sure the ends are fully submerged.
- Open up the air relief on top of the filter.
- Open up the pump lid and add water to fill filter tank.
- When water comes out of the air relief on top of the filter, put the lid back on the pump and plug-in/turn the pump on.
- More air may bleed out once the pump is turned on, close air relief when water comes out.
When to clean the filter - May need to do this several times a day depending on severity of water clarity.
- Pressure goes 8 PSI above starting pressure(starting pressure is when filter is clean and fresh DE has been added)
- Also can tell by the water pressure coming out of the filter, if it’s not pushing your hand away.
To clean:
- Turn off pump
- Remove the Drain Plug on bottom of the Filter Tank and open up the Air Bleeder on the top of the tank
- Once water is drained from the tank remove the tank ring
- Remove cartridge and hose off with water
- Hose out the inside of the tank
- Clean out the Pump housing basket
- Screw Plug back in to the bottom of the tank
- Put filter cartridge back in tank and pour 6lb of DE or Perlite (6 orange scoops) in the center of the cartridge
- Put top back on and screw on the tank ring
- Re-prime the pump using startup steps.
